THE OUTLINE: Warriors of Celestia is a Gundam-esque series that focuses on a team of Battle Armour pilots who fight continous battles against space pirates, robots, and the Southern Orbital Communist Union itself. This should also contain some Catholic imagery, and some key themes and elements for a good TV show for teens to middle aged Otakus.
United Federation of Earth: During the aftermath of the Third World War, the rest of the surviving nations banded together to form the Tri-Terran Union. Eventually, this government would become the United Federation of Earth, in the year 2199. This was after a civil war, in which the the Terran Independant Party won against the Conservative Humanists. The new government outlawed all non centurist forms of governing thoug, and declared all culture that fit the 'Terran standard' to be ideal. All things non-terran are a disgrace to the Federation, and thus are to be purged.
Space Alliance of Christians: In the year 2423, after space colonists found the Second Jordan river, the Federation gave a grant to fund a neutral colony surrounding the water border that cut though the Sol System, which was given to an organization only calling themselves the Charter. The Charter colonies were a safe system for the Christian community after the Dissolusion of Protestantism. The Catholic Church retains a seat for the Pope here, and is invoked during the Councils between the Federation and the Southern Orbital Communist union.
The Southern Orbital Communists: Four colonies in the year 2445, after the Tiberus Riots, declared themselves independant of the Federati high taxes and mistreatment of Synthetic Humans. The Union waged a war against the Terran for 100+ years, and has destroyed the old capital of Earth, which was Seoul. Currently a treaty from the SAC keeps the Martians from attacking the Federation, but this can only hold back hatred for so long...
Space Pirates: A band of scrappers who roam the Sol System for any money or valued tech they can get their hands on. Also easily bought by governments and rich people.
